About Dellamay
Dellamay is a true Lebenskünstlerin: an artist of life. The world is the canvas and yoga is the medium with which the masterpiece is painted. Breath in… Breath out…where the mind goes Prana will follow. Having the blessing to study under many wise men and women in lands both near and far, along with the curiosity to explore and question what is “real” and “true” she discovered the joy of being both student and teacher, as well as that potential in every being.
She completed her teacher’s training at the Mount Madonna Institute in Watsonville California, following the classical Ashțānga system outlined in the Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali. With this foundation in the purification of body, breath and mind her personal praxis and teaching style are formed.
She learned the Primary Series of the Ashtanga Vinyasa System under the guidance of Christian Klix and Carolyn Klebl. Currently she is studying the Intermediate Series under the Guidance of her teacher and mentor Devorah Sacks’ at the Atha Yoga Shala in Grass Valley, California
As a multi instrumentalist and singer her poetic and musical nature is enchanted by the beauty of Bhakti. Participating in Kirtan- chanting names of the divine in sacred sound, brings her great joy. An invitation is extended to those who read this and are inspired to come explore this themselves and this sacred science.
